The longitudinal connector for the base profile is used to connect two individual LayTec base profiles. The U-shaped connector is simply placed against the profiles from below and fastened using the nuts and bolts supplied. Thanks to the punched-in spacers, the connector is automatically centered between the profiles and leaves a gap of approx. 6 mm between the modules for thermal expansion of the profiles. The connector is only used for connection and does not replace any fixing points on the roof.
