Eurotec’s new KonstruX DUO combines the properties of a partially threaded screw with those of a fully threaded one. The load-bearing capacity of wood connections is maximised by the equally high pull-out resistance of two components. A pull-in effect is also achieved by the varying thread pitches in the under-head thread and driving thread. The under-head thread with cutting notch is separated from the coarse thread by a smooth shank. The screw makes a suitable fastener for fixing a support beam and joist together.
The wood construction screw is equipped with a TX-drive cylinder head for fast screwing in, which also sinks completely and cleanly into the wood, resulting in an invisible screw connection. The screw-in torque is effectively minimised by the drill point – and thanks to the point, no pre-drilling is necessary. And there’s more:
No matter what application you have in mind, the KonstruX DUO is available in various dimensions - from 6.5 x 90 mm to 8.0 x 400 mm.
The KonstruX DUO is approved for wood construction in accordance with the provisions of ETA-11/0024.
