Solid timber construction is becoming increasingly important and increasingly higher as well, which is why there is also an increasing need for time-savings and reliable connection solutions for the various types and sizes of timber materials. The solid timber construction method must meet exceptionally strict fire, sound, and noise protection requirements – even the pre-fabricated connecting elements that are used must meet these technical construction requirements.
These professional connectors can be fully concealed in milled sections, which improves the fire protection of the steel elements and simultaneously makes the connection look more pleasant and architectural. The force-fitting IdeeFix wood connectors from our product range are used for such purposes. It is the ideal connector for various applications in timber construction. By using the included fully threaded screws and a metric screw to complete the installation, its structural property combines the connection’s pull-out resistance, tensile effect and force.
The option of using long, metric screws and installing several connectors in a row allows you to resolve the smallest and largest wooden element connections – from installing a carport to highly resilient main and secondary beams. IdeeFix wood connectors are also suitable for temporary timber constructions since they can be used reliably several times thanks to their ease of use.
