Taurus 45°

Taurus washers are suitable for affixing metal plates onto timber with KonstruX screws in a 45° screwing angle. To achieve a tight load-carrying connection, the screw head need to be flush with the washer surface, and Taurus ensures this. The plate plates only need simple round holes milled or lasered to prevent Taurus from sliding

out. With Taurus, tensile forces are correctly transfered from one component to another by means of shear-tension KonstruX screws. Taurus washers are compatible with ø 6,5 mm, 8 mm, and 10 mm countersunk KonstruX screws.

Material

• Galvanised cast steel S235
• Free of chromium (VI) oxide
• Good resistance to mechanical stresses

Applications

• Conditionally corrosion-resistant and suitable for use in service classes 1 and 2 according to DIN EN 1995 (Eurocode 5)
